For Reign or Ruin made a first public appearance at the wargame show Crisis 2017 in Antwerp, Belgium. After a early start we arrived at the site and set up for a demonstration game between dark elves and my ratmen army. We brought a few buildings for a village and a wizard’s tower to dress up the table a little but otherwise it was mostly an open field to simplify things in case someone wanted to participate. As these things go, I spent more time talking to people than concentrating on the game, but I had a number of nice conversations with several people interested in the rules.
At the end of the day the dark elves were winning (I blame my lack of attention… ) but it was a fun fun day and we returned home satisfied and with a bag full of impulse buys.
